Katrina “Kat” “Tina” L. Leamons, 52, Lewisburg, Penn. passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 1, 2017 at her home.

She was born Aug. 25, 1964 in Lewisburg, a daughter of Donald and Kay (Wagner) Shirk, of Mifflinburg. On June 16, 2012 she married Carl Leamons, former North Webster area resident, who survives.

Kat was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

She loved teaching and watching over her children and grandchildren. Kat enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and camping. She was fond of crocheting, playing cards and coloring. Kat also loved the companionship of her dog, Rosie.

Surviving in addition to her parents and husband are five children: Jenetta Shirk, Lewisburg; Richard Derr, Montandon, Penn.; Allyson, Abigail and Charles Derr, Lewisburg; a brother, Doug (Cathy) Shirk, Mifflinburg; four grandchildren: Blake Heverly, Shaylynn Caldwell, Hunter Derr and Noah Lilley; brother-in-law, Richard (Kimberly) Owen, North Webster; sister-in-law, Carla (Leamons) Kelley, Jacksonville, Fla. 

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg, Penn.
