Dorothy Theresa Crobarger
Dorothy Theresa Crobarger, 88, Ligonier, formerly of Las Vegas, Nev., passed away late Friday morning, April 7, 2017 at Avalon Village in Ligonier.
She was born on July 14, 1928, the daughter of Frank and Theresa (Nimon) Szollar in South Bend.
She is survived by her son, Frank Ulbright of Las Vegas, Nev.; five grandchildren, Kevin, Tim, Heather, Hillary, and Elliot; and four great-grandchildren, Alivia, Kai, Ava, and Khloe.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ross; her parents; husbands, William “Bill” Dunham, and Harvey Crobarger; a brother, Frank Szollar, who gave his life during WWII, a sister, Julie Nowacki; and a close companion George.
Dorothy was full of life. She loved being with her family and friends, cooking, entertaining guests, and playing poker. Dorothy was always up for a trip to the casino and always enjoyed playing the slot machines. In her younger years, and for many years, she owned and operated restaurants with her husband, Bill.
In keeping with her wishes, no public visitation or services are planned. A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier. The family will host a private memorial gathering at a later date.
