Pang Pang Meets Local Residents
WARSAW — Pang Pang, a 5-month-old greyhound who was rescued from the dog meat trade in China and shipped to the U.S., was the featured rescue pet at Books, Wine and Dogs, 101 East Center Street, Warsaw, Saturday, April 15.
Pang Pang was at the shop from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. greeting visitors and making new friends.
American Greyhound Rescue, Valparaiso, assisted in making the arrangements to have Pang Pang shipped to the U.S. Jeff Coggins, president of American Greyhound Rescue, and Stephanie Jones, rescue coordinator with American Greyhound, were in attendance. American Greyhound Rescue holds events at Books, Wine and Dogs, Warsaw, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the third Saturday of every month and at Petsmart, Warsaw, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. the fourth Saturday of every month.
