ISP Trooper Back After Squad Car Was Hit By Semi Four Years Ago
INDIANAPOLIS — An Indiana State Police trooper is finally back on duty four years after his squad car was hit by a semi-truck.
Master Trooper Brian Snyder just returned to work in Indianapolis.
Snyder has spent the past four years recovering after he was seriously injured while responding to a crash on I-65 near Whiteland in 2013.
Snyder had to dive into his front seat after he saw a semi coming right at him.
The semi ended up side-swiping his police car before taking off. That semi was never found.
Snyder went through five surgeries to repair his hand and four surgeries for his back.
