Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
8:51 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, Old Road 30 and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Roopashree Vaidya, 37, Orchard Drive, Warsaw, and Lydia Mason-Lindeman, 39, Lake Tahoe Trail, Warsaw. Roopashree’s vehicle rear ended Mason-Lindeman’s vehicle at the intersection. damages up to $5,000.
2:46 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 901 S Union St., Warsaw. Drivers: Harlan Merchant, 67, Southwood Drive, Warsaw, and Eileen Ransbottom, 66, East CR 700S, Claypool. Merchant began to turn the school bus when it hit the side of Ransbottom’s vehicle. No students were on the bus at the time of the accident. Damages up to $10,000.
4:57 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, East Winona Avenue and North Bay Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Teresa Saldivar, 20, Ellsworth Street, Warsaw, Malina Roberts, 22, South CR 200W, Claypool, and Lynnae Haan, 23, Bay View Drive, Warsaw. A chain reaction rear ending occurred. Damages up to $10,000.
5:57 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, West Lake Street, west of North Warren Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ryan Mast, 30, East CR 300N, Warsaw, and Cassie Santamaria, 26, Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Mast applied his vehicle’s breaks but had no break pressure, rear ending Santamaria’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
3:25 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, East CR 200N and North CR 100E, Warsaw. Drivers: Michael Herrin, 38, Walton Boulevard, Warsaw, and Kimberly Moyotl 17, East CR 200N, Warsaw. Both drivers assumed the right of way and collided in the intersection. Damages up to $1,000.
10:15 p.m. SR 15 and Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Driver: Sandra Blagojevic, 28, Kuder Lane, Warsaw. Blagojevic attempted to turn in order to avoid an animal and ran into the a ditch. Damages up to $2,500.
10:09 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, East CR 200N and North Boeing Road, Warsaw. Driver: Emma Janes Riedley, 22, Capitol Court, Garrett. The vehicle left the roadway and landed on its passenger side in a ditch. Damages up to $10,000.
