Whitko Baseball: Bradford Tosses No-No Against Maconaquah
SOUTH WHITLEY — Drew Bradford just keeps on doing good things for the Whitko baseball team. Wednesday night Bradford continued his stellar start to the season as he tossed a no-hitter against Maconaquah in the team’s Three Rivers Conference opener. The effort helped the Wildcats escape with a 3-0 win.
Bradford was excellent on the mound as he pitched all seven innings, walked just one and fanned 14 Braves batters in the process.
The Wildcats scored all of their runs in the first inning. Landen Goff scored on a wild pitch to get things going, Bradford followed by scoring on a single by River West. The scoring was capped by a double steal which allowed Ausgtin Hollowell to cross home.
Whitko is now 10-1 on the season.
