Rollers Crash The Party
INDIANAPOLIS – Bone City didn’t know what to expect heading to Circle City, but found the going good in a whopping 255-108 derby win Saturday night.
The first jam set the tone for the night with Unraveled Kaos putting up a 20-0 margin on the scoreboard. The Bone City jammers continued to sneak through a scattered defensive line, racking up points. At the half, Bone City had contained the Party Crashers to only 43 points, with a massive lead of 144-43.
In the second half, with a large lead, the visitors fielded back-up jammers to gain experience. Madame Furie, Rebelde and Rink Panther all put points on the board while the defense continued to shut down Circle City jammers.
Bone City wins its opener and will next compete May 6 in Champagne, Ill., against Twin City. The team’s first home bout of the season in Warsaw is June 17.
