Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

6:07 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, South SR 15 and West CR 200S, Warsaw. Drivers: Travis D. Shepler, 47, North CR 700W, Nappanee, and Ryan J. Sparks, 30, North Shagbark Drive, Warsaw. The vehicles collided when Shepler thought Sparks was making a right turn and started to go around his vehicle. Sparks actually turned left and struck the side of Shepler’s vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:42 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, East Market Street and South High Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ronie S. Rom, 18, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, and Brenda E. Smith, 53, South SR 25, Warsaw. The vehicles collided when Rom pulled onto Market Street and struck Smith’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.

9:57 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, North Detroit Street and East Man Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Todd W. Walls, 55, West Walnut Street, Pierceton, and Gina L. Garza, 52, East Clark Street, Warsaw. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Early reports indicate Walls may have failed to stop at a red light. Damages up to $5,000.

Milford

Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:

12:59 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, North SR 15 and Turkey Creek Drive, Milford. Driver: Jack R. Friedman, 64, Stonebridge Drive, Elkhart. Friedman advised he swerved to avoid striking a dog that ran out on the roadway. Friedman struck a guardrail. Damages up to $25,000.
