Mary Jane England
Mary Jane England, 79, Pierceton, passed away at 3:34 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2017 in the presence of her granddaughter at Heritage Park Nursing Home, Fort Wayne.
On Sept. 29, 1937, she was born in Bullcreek, Ky. to Albert and Anne (Stevens) Hall. She was united in marriage to Richard England on July 31, 1954, who preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 1992.
Mary was a homemaker and attended several churches, mainly New Life Christian Church and World Outreach, Warsaw. She loved to go on long walks, loved flowers and gardening and she also loved hummingbirds and singing. But most of all, she enjoyed raising her granddaughter.
She is survived by eleven grandchildren, Shandy Granados, Warsaw; Jennifer Morehead, Warsaw; Jay Morehead, Warsaw; Cassandra Spangle, Tulsa, Okla.; Melanie (Bobby) Morris, Levelland, Texas; Katherine (Ryan) Faulk, Amarillo, Texas; Garnet (Frank) Engle, Fort Wayne; Christina England, Indianapolis; Jillian England, Huntington; Jody (Shaun) Sisk, Warsaw; and Jason Nelson, Warsaw; several great grandchildren and one sister, Geneva Stephens, Marion, Ohio.
Mary was also preceded in death by three daughters: Laura England, Brenda Spangle and Ruth England; her son Richard England; seven sisters, Bessie Wallen, Edith Collins, Mabel Prater, Eve Hall, Ethel Hall, Ruth Ousley, Josephine Fields and two brothers, Bobby Hall and Elbert Hall.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 15 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor John Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Visitation hours will be from 11 a.m.– 1 p.m. Monday, May 15 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
