Philip D. Riggle
Philip D. Riggle, 67, Albany, Kentucky and longtime Fulton area resident, passed away at 6:51 p.m. Friday May 5, 2017, at his residence in Albany, Ky.
He was born on Aug. 28, 1949 in Rochester, the son of Charles B. and Donna (Thomas) Riggle Jr. On Sept. 11, 1976 in Marshtown, he married Bonita L. Moore and she survives.
Phil had worked for the CSX Railroad and retired from the Dana Corp. as a machinist. In his younger years, he had attended the Fulton Baptist Temple. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, arrowhead hunting and cooking.
Survivors include his wife, Bonita L. Riggle, Albany, Ky.; sons, Chad and wife Flavia Riggle, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil; Eric and wife Rebecca Riggle, Byrdstown, Tenn.; granddaughter, Ana Beatriz Riggle, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, John Riggle, sister, Connie Jean Mancini and step-grandson, Jedediah Criswell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday May 10, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester with Rev. Aaron McCombs officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Grass Creek Cemetery, Grass Creek. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kewanna Church of Christ, Kewanna.
