Arnold Eugene Bell
Arnold Eugene Bell, 78, Rochester, passed away at 8:59 a.m. on Friday April 21, 2017 at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
He was born on May 7, 1938 in Rochester to John Arnold and Emlene Bernadean (Zartman) Bell.
He lived most of his life in the Rochester area, attended Morton Memorial School in Knightstown, IN, and was a United States Navy veteran. He was a truck driver most of his life with various trucking companies.
Member of the Eagles Lodge #852 in Rochester, AMVETS # 32 life member, and former member of the Disabled American Veterans # 28. He was an Indiana Soldiers’ and Sailors Children Home Alumni.
He was survived by two daughters: Jeanie (Greg) Brooke, Mentone; and Robin (Charles) Zoubul, Peru; a step daughter, Linda Freels, Peru; six grandchildren: Hope Brooke, Claypool; Bradley Strasser, Jordyn Zoubul, Gabryelle Zoubul, Emmalee Zoubul and Nathanel Zoubul, all of Peru; two great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; a sister, Wonita Joan Hart, Logansport; and his companion, Carolyn Varab, Rochester.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Cheryl Lee Bell, sister, Joyce Bell, and brother, Stephen Bell.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 20 at Plainview Cemetery in Macy with Pastor Gary Loy of the Burkett United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N St. Rd. 15, Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
