A fair share of area high school athletic events fell victim to the rainy weather Saturday.

The Northern Lakes Conference Boys’ Golf Tournament was postponed. The event will now be played on Monday, starting with a shotgun start at 5 p.m. at the Pretty Lake Golf Club in Plymouth.

The Peru Girls’ Tennis Sectional final was postponed, also until Monday. The title match, pitting Manchester versus Peru, will be played at 4:45 p.m. The winner will face Plymouth in the Culver Academy Regional semifinals Tuesday night.

The Warsaw softball game at Manchester was cancelled. The Tigers will face Goshen Wednesday night in the second game of the Elkhart Central Sectional at approximately 7 p.m.

The Unified Track Sectional at Central Noble was postponed until Monday night. The sectional includes teams from Warsaw, Wawasee, Goshen and Elkhart Memorial.
