BREAKING — One Injured In Shamrock Village Shooting
WARSAW — One person was injured after a shooting at Lot 82, Shamrock Village, Warsaw, around 4 p.m today, May 28. The victim was a minor and suffered a gunshot wound to the throat area.
Originally, the shooting was dispatched as an accidental shooting. Officers from the Warsaw Police Department and Indiana State Police responded to the scene. They were assisted by Lutheran EMS and Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory.
Officers at the scene stated the shooting was still under investigation. The area around the trailer was blocked off by crime scene tape and multiple individuals were taken to the Warsaw Police Department for questioning.
The victim was in stable condition and transported to Fort Wayne by ambulance.
