The incident occurred at Lake City Bank, 202 E Center St., Warsaw.

WARSAW — An attempted armed robbery occurred at Lake City Bank, 202 E. Center Street, Warsaw, around 9 a.m. this morning.

The initial dispatch call advised that there was a shirtless male inside the bank screaming. Reportedly, he was seen waving his shirt around his head.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department were able to apprehend the suspect within minutes. The suspect was brought into custody on High and Market streets.

Officers remained on the scene investigating the incident. No further information is known at this time.
