Two Local Artists Win Big In Logansport Show
Local artists Steve Creighton and Ann Peperak won the major awards at the 106th fine art show this month at Logansport Art Association. Creighton won Best of Show for his still life titled “Arrangement Study” and second place in the Professional Division for his landscape “First Snow.” Peperak’s “Moon Over Camelot” won first place in the Professional Division and her “Fresh Radishes” won the Marilou Crisman Award.
Creighton and Peperak are both active in local art guilds. Creighton is a member of Oil Painters of America, the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society and Hoosier Salon.
Judge for this year’s show was Carroll County artist Lisa Bliss Rush. Lisa works in a variety of mediums including oil pastel, pen and ink, colored pencil and mixed media creating portraits, florals architectural and still life images.
