New Deputy Sheriff In Kosciusko County
KOSCIUSKO — Kosciusko County Sheriff Rocky Goshert has a new addition to the sheriff’s department’s roster. Deputy Sheriff Craig Summers recently replaced a vacancy within the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputy Sheriff Summers began his law enforcement career in 2006 as a reserve officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Summers is a 2002 graduate of Huntington North High School and graduated from Grace College in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. He was hired full-time in 2010 and assigned to the Kosciusko County Jail Division, being promoted to Jail Corporal and Jail Sergeant in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Summers is now assigned to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department road patrol division.
Sheriff Goshert stated that Deputy Summers was selected from a large group of excellent candidates and will be a great asset to the department as well as the citizens of Kosciusko County.
