Warsaw Man Charged With Battery In Front Of A Minor
WARSAW — A Warsaw man is facing battery charges after getting into an altercation with two minors present.
Cameron Don Beliles, 22, Warsaw, is being charged with domestic battery with a child under 16 present, a level 6 felony, and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
On May 30, an officer with the Warsaw Police Department responded to a domestic battery. A female advised the officer that Beliles had come to the residence with child A.A. Beliles and the female then began arguing and yelling.
According to the affidavit, Beliles was holding A.A. when he picked up an ashtray and threatened to throw it at the female. The female raised her hand to “make a point” and Beliles claimed she swung at him.
The affidavit continues, stating that Beliles pushed the female and she pushed him back, making him lose his balance and stumble into a doorway. Another woman took A.A. from Beliles and he attacked the female he was arguing with, pushing her to the ground. Another minor, B.B., jumped onto Beliles’s back to get him off of the female. Beliles then left the residence.
Beliles was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on June 26 with a $6,000 surety and cash bond.
