A Full Week Of Fun Hits The Grandstand

WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Community Fairgrounds grandstand will provide many of the county fair’s biggest attractions, with special events taking place almost every night of the week, July 10-15.
The Kosciusko County Fair World Championship Rodeo, produced by the award-winning Broken Horn Rodeo, kicks things off at 7:30 p.m., Monday, July 10. This is a chance for those not familiar with rodeo to see world champions in action, bull-riding, barrel racing, calf-roping and much more, will be on display. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children ages 6-12 and free for ages 5 and under. The gates open at 6 p.m.
Tuesday, July 11, will feature the Monster Truck Bash, presented by Monteith’s Best One Tire. This event features Big Foot, Ballistic, Nightmare and Snake Bite. The gates open at 6 p.m. and the car-crushing insanity begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children ages 6-12 and free for ages 5 and under.

The KOI Dirt Drag Races are always a big draw. It’s not everyday you get to see lawn mowers drag racing, let alone, ATVs, trucks and more. This event starts at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, July 13. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children ages 6-12 and free for ages 5 and under. Pit passes are also available for $15. Gates open at 6 p.m.
The Shaggy Memorial Demo Derby is a good time for the whole family. Four classes of metal-bending mayhem, including the Gut and Go, which is open to amateurs, start their engines at 7:30, Friday, July 14. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children ages 6-12 and free for ages 5 and under. Pit passes are available for $15. Gates open at 4 p.m.
The truck and tractor pull, starting at the grandstand at 6 p.m., Saturday, July 15, gives families the chance to see these vehicles straining their horsepower to pull increasingly heavy loads down the track. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children ages 6-12, and free for kids ages 5 and under.
