KOSCIUSKO — Donor advised funds are the fasting-growing way for donors to give in the United States. They are also increasing in popularity at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, which holds more than 50 donor advised funds. The donor’s gift is placed in a named fund (usually named after the donor, a family or a business). The donor decides who can recommend grants for charitable purposes from the fund. Donor advised funds are easy to set-up.  Donor advisors at the Community Foundation have 24/7 access to fund information such as gift history and grant history.  Advisors can recommend a grant from the fund anywhere using their mobile devices or computer.
