WARSAW – A first is set to go down at Hansen’s Eastlake Skate Center on Saturday, Aug. 5.

The K-County Junior Roller Derby will host its first-ever home derby bout against the Montgomery Minions Junior Roller Derby team. Doors open at 1 p.m., derby action set for 2 p.m. Entry fee is $10, kids 10 and under are free.

The K-County derby team is for boys and girls 9-17 years old wanting to learn and play the sport of roller derby. The team is in its first season of competitive bouts.
