Jeffrey Noel “Jeff” Reed, 60, Syracuse, passed away at 9:29 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born Dec. 13, 1956 in Goshen, to Stanley Eugene and Harriett Ann (Wysong) Reed.

He attended Wawasee High School and formerly worked at AIA Countertops, LLC in Syracuse. He grew up in Syracuse and then lived in Texas for 30 years before returning to Syracuse.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 223 in Syracuse.

He is survived by his daughter, Cecilia Gustafson, Clarksville, Tenn.; son, Devon Reed, Chattanooga, Tenn.; sister, Patricia (James) Kaufaman of Sun City Center, Fla.; brothers,  Mike (Paula) Reed, Conshohocken, Pa., Roger Reed,  Syracuse, Stephen Reed, Syracuse, and Mark Reed, Syracuse.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother  Carey Reed.

No public visitation or service will be held. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Private burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.
