WARSAW — Eagle Scouts will gather on Saturday, Aug. 12 in commemoration of National Eagle Scout Day which held annually on Aug. 1.

Community service will start at 9 a.m. at the Chinworth Bridge Trailhead located at North CR 350W and West Old Road 30 in Warsaw.  

One Eagle Scout candidate will be working on his project along with clean-up of the park.  All Eagle Scouts are encouraged to register and provide community service which will include the canoe launch, Kiwanis shelter and around the Chinworth Bridge.

“The Chinworth Bridge Trailhead was a special project of longtime Scouter Neal Carlson,” noted Ken Locke, Lincolnway District Eagle Scout Chairman.  “We want to honor his passing and rededicate ourselves to the ideals of Scouting.”
