Sharon Sue Woodcox, 68, Rochester, passed away at 2:24 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center of Fort Wayne.

On Sept. 7 1948, Sharon was born in Fulton County to Joseph and Joan Cunningham.  She was a lifelong resident of Fulton County.

Sharon and Raymond De Lonzo “Lonnie” Woodcox were married on May 24, 1966. They shared 51 years of life’s adventures. Together they raised eight sons and were blessed with two more generations added to their family tree.

Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her husband Lonnie; seven sons: James Woodcox, Michael Woodcox, Benjamin Woodcox and wife Kelly, Christopher Woodcox and wife Misty, Cory Woodcox and wife Annie, Kevin Woodcox and wife Faye, Justin Woodcox; 22 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters: Nancy Bailey and husband Charles, Diane Muffley and husband Sam; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Sharon in death are her parents, a son, Timothy Woodcox and a brother, Joseph Cunningham.

Pastor Ben Woodcox will officiate services. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
