WARSAW — At approximately 5 p.m. a call was received regarding a vehicle-pedestrian accident near Rozella Road and Logan Street, behind Warsaw Community High School.

The female victim was struck by a Ford truck near the roadway. She was breathing but not responding properly according to dispatch.

A landing zone for a medical helicopter was set up near the WCHS football field and the victim was transported from the scene by helicopter.
