Cubs Baseball: Logan All-Stars Set To Take On Cubs
SOUTH BEND – A team of athletes at Logan known as the Logan All-Stars will take on the South Bend Cubs in an exhibition game Tuesday, August 15 at 3:45 p.m.
Logan staff and volunteers will be on hand to support the Logan team at the game which takes place just prior to the South Bend Cubs matchup against the Fort Wayne TinCaps.
The exhibition game is part of Logan’s Friends and Family Night at Four Winds Field – an annual outing for clients, family and supporters of the regional non-profit.
“This is a game our All-Stars team really looks forward to,” said Matt Harrington, President and CEO of Logan. “We started the Logan All-Stars several years ago because many of our clients are interested in baseball, particularly South Bend baseball. We put together a team of athletes and asked the South Bend Cubs if they’d be interested in a game. It’s become a wonderful tradition and a great community partnership.”
This year, the game coincides with the South Bend Cubs’ promotion of $2 Tuesdays, so all tickets are $2. Lawn seats are available. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m.; gates open to the general public at 6 p.m. The gates will open for Logan Friends and Family to watch the All-Star game at 3:45 p.m.
