Argument Gets Out Of Hand, Man Allegedly Strangles Victim
WARSAW — Joshua Adam McIndoo, 33, 210 S. Lake St., No. A, Warsaw, has been charged with strangulation, a level 6 felony, and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor. Charges were officially filed against McIndoo Aug. 21, in Kosciusko Superior Court 1.
The probable cause notes Aug. 15, police were called to the McIndoo residence where he told police things got out of hand between him and the female victim. He stated he had pushed her down on the couch and held her so he could speak with her. He also stated the victim cut her arm when she broke out a window.
However, the victim stated while arguing with McIndoo, he became angry and threw her down on the couch. While she was down on the couch he put his arm around her throat applying pressure to the point she could not breathe. Police did notice red marks on the victim’s neck consistent with being choked and the red marks and cuts on both her arms, appearing to be fresh teeth marks.
He was arrested Aug. 15 and also charged with failure to appear on another court matter. His bond was set at $5,433.50 surety and cash.
