Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

8:54 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, South SR 19, north of North Etna Street, Mentone. Driver: Ema G. Coppes, 27, East 8 Square Road, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.

9:57 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, North CR 850E, south of East CR 500N, North Webster. Drivers: Harold L. Galloway, 75, East R 500N, North Webster, and Danielle C. Barr, 24, North Union Street, Warsaw. Galloway drove past his destination and began to back his vehicle, backing into the Barr vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, South CR 700E, east of East CR 950S, Warsaw. Driver: Thomas E. Hardy, 63, South CR 700E, North Manchester. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.

6:36 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, South SR 15, north of West CR 200S, Warsaw. Drivers: Torie A. Helton, 38, West Walnut Street, Claypool, and David C. Cates, 57, North Kings Drive, Syracuse. Helton lost the driver’s side tire, which struck the Cates vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

9:33 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, West CR 100S, west of South SR 25, Warsaw. Driver: Cora L. Warner, 24, West Center Street, Burket. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.

Pierceton

Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:

3:24 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, SR 13, north of US 30, Pierceton. Drivers: Jesus J. Barrera, 23, North Surf Drive, North Manchester, and Bonnie L. Long, 55, North Cheyenne Drive, Warsaw. Barrera was changing lanes when his vehicle struck the back of the Long vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

10:23 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, South Huntington Street, Syracuse. Julia K. Cart, West CR 800N, Pierceton, parked her vehicle in a parking lot and when she returned found damage to the right rear panel. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

5:49 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, East Center Street and North Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Blake D. Foreman, 19, West Center Street, Warsaw, and Daniel D. Foreman, 44, West Center Street, Warsaw. Blake Foreman’s vehicle struck the back of the Daniel Foreman’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

5:13 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, Meijer Drive and US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Oscar Z. Velazquez, 18, East CR 200N Lot 14, Warsaw, and Charlie R. Scherer, 58, North SR 19, Etna Green. Velazquez’s vehicle struck the back of the Scherer vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

8:54 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, South Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Drivers: John B. Hollinger, 61, EMS C27 Lane, Warsaw, and Chase A. Brower, 18, West CR 1250S, Akron. Hollinger backed his vehicle and failed to see the Brower vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
