As the game got more physical, our players continued to play hard to overcome. Delaney Taylor did a great job putting her body on the line so we could maintain possession. Anna’s goal was a great reminder that if we are patient and do the right things, the game will open up for us. Chloe Snow made an excellent save early in the game off a free kick that could have changed the landscape of the game. We are still getting better, and playing teams at a caliber of Homestead will only prepare us for the postseason. I’m proud of our team and the way the girls battled.”
