WARSAW – Tryouts for Warsaw Aquatic Club swim team will be held at the Warsaw Community Pool on Thursday, Sept. 14, from 5-6:30 p.m. for kids five years and older.

Swimmers must demonstrate the ability to swim from one end of the pool to the other, 25 yards. Times will be recorded to measure the swimmer’s progress during the season.

Swimmers attending tryouts and registering on the team site at the event will be entered into a drawing to win one of five $20 certificates that will be applied as credit to their account.

A copy of the swimmer’s birth certificate is required by USA swim for registration and is asked to be brought to tryouts.

There is a $60 registration discount for swimmers on free and reduced lunches. WAC will need to verify eligibility with a copy of a Hoosier Healthwise insurance card, WIC card, or a letter from the school corporation verifying eligibility.

There is also a $25 two-week trial is available, from Sept. 18-29, for those gauging interest in the club.
