Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, East Armstrong Road, east of North CR 450E, Warsaw. Driver: Charles E. Morrison, 77, EMS T16 Lane, Leesburg. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
1:01 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, West CR 650N, east of North CR 700W, Atwood. Driver: Cameron A. Scarberry, 16, West North Street, Etna Green. Injured: Scarberry was pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger, Jared Scarberry, West North Street, Etna Green, suffered injury to his head, body and hand. He was transported to a hospital. Scarberry lost control of his vehicle, went off the road and rolled multiple times, hitting an iron rail road track used as a fence post at some point. The body of the vehicle separated from the frame. Damage up to $10,000.
7:49 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, North CR 400E, north of East CR 200N, Warsaw. Driver: Dean R. Zentz, 60, EMS C17 Lane, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
10:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Driver: Taylin M. Fox, 17, East Armstrong Road, Leesburg. Fox’s vehicle struck a parking corral while leaving a parking space. Damage up to $2,500.
6:10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Susan M. Young, 46, East Old Road 30, Warsaw, and Hannah J. Monter, 24, Chestnut Street, Winona Lake. Both drivers backed from parking spaces across the drive from each other at the same time, colliding. Damage up to $5,000.
5:27 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, South Union Street, Warsaw. Driver: Jane C. Cavacini, 67, Woodthrush Drive, Fort Wayne. Cavacini parked her vehicle next to the Edgewood Middle School soccer field and believes she may have left the vehicle in drive before exiting the vehicle, causing the vehicle to hit a fence. Damage up to $2,500.
3:31 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, East Main Street, Warsaw. Driver: Miles D. Waters, 29, East Sherman Street, Columbia City. Waters was pulling a Warsaw/Wayne Township fire truck out of the garage bay, not realizing one of the cargo doors was open. The cargo door struck the garage door rail and siding of the building. Damage up to $5,000.
2:47 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, West Lake Street, Warsaw. Driver: James E. Taylor, 37, West Pike Street, Warsaw. Taylor’s vehicle sideswiped a NIPSCO pole. Damage up to $5,000.
10:10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, Frontage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Payton L. Hoffman, 17, East CR 800N, North Webster, and Jonathan R. Napier, 17, South CR 650E, Peru. Hoffman was backing from a parking space and struck Napier’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
