Historical Marsh Sign Removed From Warsaw, Headed To Museum
WARSAW — Drivers may have noticed something missing in downtown Warsaw lately. The large, retro Marsh sign was removed on Wednesday, Sept. 20. This sign has been a staple of the downtown area for many years.
Advanced Signs & Graphics Inc., Muncie, removed the sign. The sign was made of porcelain with neon and chaser lights and believed to have been built in the 1950s.
The sign is going to the Yorktown Historical Alliance Museum where it will be put on display.
There still have been no announcements made as to what will be placed into the former Marsh building located on Buffalo Street.
