Himalayan Salt And Scents Opens New Salt Cave
WARSAW — Himalayan Salt and Scents, which operates out of the Superior Landscape Products building at 3114 E. US 30, Warsaw, has opened their new salt cave celebrating with a ribbon cutting Sept. 22.
Owner Peg Custer started selling Himalayan salts in August 2015 out of her husband’s landscaping storefront.
The cave, named D&P Salt Mine after owners Custer and husband Dale, offers a warm himalayan salt environment and features anti-gravity chairs, salt bed and salt bench to help you unwind and de-stress. Parents need not worry about whether to bring the kids along; Salt and Scents provides some toys for kids to play with so parents can relax.
The cave is one available choice of relaxation, adding to the halo bed therapy, which mimics a salt cave, and the dry-heat salt sauna.
Himalayan salt is claimed to be able to purify air and the body through its various uses, not limited to salt sole, salt therapy, salt lamps, salt baths and basic edible Himalayan salt.
Claimed benefits of Himalayan salts include:
- They counter positive ions.
- Make you healthier – the rocks contain up to 84 trace minerals your body needs, strengthening bones, regulating body pH and balancing body water content.
- They give you energy by increasing oxygen flow to the brain.
- They clean the air around you.
- They fight disease by removing “electronic smog.”
- They help you sleep.
- The neutralize electromagnetic radiation.
The grand opening special of a discounted visit in the cave will be going until the end of September. For more information, call Custer at (574) 372-3478.
