Officers with Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

8:49 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, North SR 15, south of West CR 350N, Warsaw. Drivers: Darlene K. Deturk, 68, East CR 350N, Warsaw, and Christian J. Kelsey, 21, North Saint Clair Court, Warsaw. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Damage up to $2,500.

11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, South Lake Street, Warsaw. Driver: E.D. Jones, 52, West Prairie Street, Leesburg. Jones advised he was traveling east in an alleyway and began making a left turn. He stated that the glare from the sun obstructed his view, resulting in Jones striking a utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.

Kosciusko

Officers with Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

3:39 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, East CR 1300N, east of North CR 300E, Syracuse. Drivers: Barbara N. Walters, 34, Anchorage Road, Warsaw, and Dean J. Miller, 58, CR 25, Syracuse. The vehicles collided as Walters was making a left turn. Damage up to $25,000.

1:53 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, West CR 1350N, west of North CR 300W, Milford. Drivers: Seth J. Freeman, 35, North CR 150E, Albion, and Leann K. Miller, 32, North C 300W, Milford. Freeman stated he may have fallen asleep because he did not recall the actual impact. Freeman rear-ended a horse-drawn buggy being driven by Miller. Miller was transported from the scene by medics for treatment. Damage up to $10,000.
