Interra’s CEO Amy Sink Receives Achievement Award
GOSHEN — Amy Sink, CEO of Interra Credit Union, Goshen, is the Indiana Credit Union League’s 2017 recipient of the Professional Achievement Award. The presentation was made at the league’s statewide convention in Indianapolis last month. Selected from nominations submitted from credit unions throughout Indiana, the award recognizes professional accomplishments, commitment to the credit union movement and the contributions made to Interra and the greater community.
Sink has been in the credit union business since 1987. Her tenure began at Interra when she was named CEO four years ago. In addition to the leadership she provides at Interra, Sink’s contributions have served credit unions in Indiana and across the country. She is a member of the league’s Governmental Affairs Committee. Her regular interactions with elected officials from Interra’s service area, and beyond, help reinforce visibility for the all credit unions and for key credit union issues, for which she is a passionate advocate.
Sink is also a current board member and past chairman of Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union, an associate board member of card services provider PSCU, on the board of Members Development Company and on the Credit Union National Association’s Credit Union Powers Committee. As a past credit union CFO, she has been an active member of CUNA’s CFO Council. Additionally, Sink serves on the board of the Goshen Health Foundation and has given her time and leadership to other notable boards that serve communities within Interra’s footprint.
