Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

11:09 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, West CR 250N, east of North Rainbow Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Ronald S. Harman, 44, South CR 200W, Claypool. Harmon advised he was traveling westbound on CR 250N when an eastbound vehicle crossed the center line and continued into his lane of traffic. Harman stated he began driving in the ditch on the right side of the road in an attempt to avoid a collision. However, the other vehicle struck Harman’s vehicle. Harman stated the other vehicle continued eastbound without stopping. Damage up to $2,500.

7:56 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, North Hickory Street and East Main Street, Warsaw. Driver: John D. Bakehorn, 49, South Hawthorne Court, Winona Lake. Bakehorn struck a railroad crossing signal, traveled off the roadway and then struck a street sign, knocking it over. Damage up to $5,000.
