KOSCIUSKO — Kosciusko County officials are currently investigating a death on CR 300N, near Tippe Downs Drive in Kosciusko County.  An unidentified male subject has died from injuries sustained last evening, Oct. 23.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency personnel responded at 7:42 p.m. to a reported injured male subject near the roadway. Emergency personnel arrived on the scene and located a critically injured male subject. The male subject was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead by the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office.

Further information will be released once positive identification and family notification is completed.       

On Tuesday, Oct. 24, CR 300N will be closed between Tippe Downs Drive and Madison Elementary School.  Madison Elementary School can be accessed from CR 150W.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Warsaw Police Department, the Winona Lake Police Department, Leesburg Fire Department, the Winona Lake Fire Department, Lutheran EMS and the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office.
