Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

10:22 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, South Union Street, west of West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Ranganihanth Nutakki, 25, Abel Street, Milpitas, Calif., and Benjamin A. Krill, 62, Country Club Road, Warsaw. Nutakki advised that he applied his brakes but was unable to stop before entering the intersection, resulting in Nutakki’s vehicle colliding with Krill’s vehicle. A passenger in Nutakki’s vehicle was transported to Lutheran Hospital to be evaluated for injuries. Damage up to $50,000.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:16 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 13th Street, west of King’s Highway, Winona Lake. Driver: Susan R. Lehman, 49, Chestnut Street, Winona Lake. Lehman sideswiped a parked vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
