Jackson Charged With Invasion Of Privacy
WARSAW — Raven Allen Jackson, 23, 308 S. Indiana St., Warsaw, is being charged with stalking, a level 5 felony, and two counts of invasion of privacy with a sentence enhancement, level 6 felonies, after harassing his ex-girlfriend.
According to the affidavit of probable cause. the victim contacted the Warsaw Police Department on Nov. 2 and advised she has a protective order against Jackson. The protective order states that Jackson is not to contact the victim unless it is regarding their child. She further advised that on Oct. 30, Jackson went to the victim’s residence, driving by twice before stopping.
Jackson went up to the residence and the victim cracked open the door to speak to her. The victim advised Jackson was accusing her of “bad things” and would lunge and jump at her while speaking to intimidate her. She advised she then told Jackson to leave. Jackson called her names and the left. A short time later Jackson called the victim, stating he was coming back. The victim advised him that if he did that she would call the police.
The victim then gave the officer text messages sent to her by Jackson. In the messages Jackson calls the victim names and references an upcoming domestic battery trial, accusing the victim of putting him in jail.
On Nov. 8, officers responded to a call from the victim. She advised she was sleeping when Jackson pounded on her bedroom window and asked her to come to the window. She advised she immediately called dispatch and that Jackson had left in a green Ford Taurus.
Officers located Jackson and he advised he had merely dropped his child off at the victim’s residence. The victim stated that the child had been with her all night.
Jackson was convicted of invasion of privacy May 10, 2016.
