Barbie S. Warner
Barbie S. Warner, 70, a resident of Miller’s Merry Manor, passed away Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, in Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home of Plymouth.
Barbie was born the daughter of Hargis and Annie (Owens) Miller on Nov. 6, 1947 in Royalton, Ky. On July 6, 1996 Barbie became the bride of Paul Warner he preceded her in passing in 2008. As a resident of the area for most of her life she worked at Wagoners then United Technologies. She was a former member of the Moose lodge, a homemaker who enjoyed BINGO and watching old western movies and Columbo.
Those who will greatly miss Barbie include her two daughters: Della (Robert) Shirley of Hickory Flatt, Miss.; and Sue Hall of Spain; her son, Dale (Shari) Peterson of Plymouth; Barbie was further blessed with six loving grandchildren, Teresa, Trey, Randy, Kelsey, Erica and Seth; two great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Zoey; six sisters: Dorothy Grossman of Argos, Mamie Seigerg of Fish Lake, Nora (Mike) Henry of Knox, Betty (Jim) Ellis of Knox, Vernie (Robert) Lyons of Michigan, Virginia (Aideman) Alder of Bonita Springs, Fla., two brothers: Jay (J.B.) Miller of La Paz and Vincent (Vivian) Miller of Rochester. Barbie is preceded in passing by her parents, her son, Daryll, her granddaughter, Latasha, great- granddaughter, Jasmine, her sisters, Brenda Howard; and her two brothers, Charles Miller and Ernie Miller.
Funeral services in honor of Barbie will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Van Gilder Funeral home, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, IN 46563, with Pastor Rick Loew officiating. Burial will follow the service in the New Oak Hill Cemetery.
A time of visiting with the Warner family will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13 in the Van Gilder Funeral Home.
