Meade Pleads Guilty To Aiding Theft
WARSAW — One of the six people arrested for Milford area burglaries last year has pled guilty to two counts of aiding, inducing or causing theft, level 6 felonies.
Jason W. Meade, 44, Syracuse, was present in Kosciusko Circuit Court this morning, Dec. 13, to enter the guilty plea. Meade admitted to knowingly escorting two people who were exchanging stolen goods.
Meade was on probation at the time of the offense. He admitted in court to this probation violation.
Meade’s plea agreement, should it be accepted, states the two charges will be served consecutive to each other, and consecutive to any time sentenced for the violation. Meade’s initial executed sentence will not exceed 1 1/2 years, anything greater will be suspended.
Meade’s plea acceptance and violation disposition has been set for 8:30 a.m. Jan. 29.
