Warsaw Man Arrested For Strangling Female In Front Of His Three Children
WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested on a warrant after he became angry with a female and strangled her in November. The man’s three children were present at the time.
Eduardo Guerrero, 42, 1901 Sand Castle Drive C, Warsaw, is being charged with strangulation, a level 6 felony; domestic battery with children present, a level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
On November 23, an officer with the Warsaw Police Department responded to a domestic battery call. The victim advised she and Guerrero had been arguing and he became angry. According to the victim, Guerrero slammed a drawer closed on her hand, grabbed her by the throat and pinned her against the wall.
The officer was able to observe and photograph swelling on the victim’s fingers, red marks on her lower neck and a scratch on her wrist.
Guerrero’s three minor children were present in the house when the battery occurred.
Guerrero was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Dec. 12, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
