At the age of 71, Ken Johnson, Jr. passed away at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne on Sunday, December 17, 2017.

He had been a member of the Eagles.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Sandra Johnson; daughters, Janet (Wayde) Draper, of South Whitley and Deb (Scott) Fairchild, of Columbia City; grandchildren, Shelby and Jordon Fairchild and Jeremiah Draper; siblings, Larry Johnson, of New York; Christine (Donald) Schrader, of Michigan, Andrew (Barb) Johnson, of Michigan and Sharon (Dan) Felice, of Indiana; and sister-in-law, Kay Helfrich, of Columbia City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dane Johnson.

Visitation will take place from 9-10:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.  Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Thomas Beers officiating. Burial will follow at Union Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
