Syracuse Woman Sentenced On Drug Charges

KOSCIUSKO — A Syracuse woman, who was arrested in October 2016 for her involvement in a drug deal, was sentenced Monday, Jan. 15, in the Kosciusko County Circuit Court.
Dylan Nikole Bowser, 24, 109 E. Baltimore St., Apt. 3, Syracuse, was sentenced on charges of possession of a narcotic drug and maintaining a common nuisance, both level 6 felonies.
The charges stem from incidents that occurred in October 2016 when Bowser was involved in two separate drug deals involving narcotics.
For the charge of possession of a narcotic drug, Judge Michael Reed sentenced Bowser to one year in the Kosciusko County Jail. Regarding the charge of maintaining a common nuisance, Reed sentenced Bowser to one year in the Kosciusko County Jail, with the sentences to be served concurrently. Reed also ordered Bowser to pay court fees. Bowser was given 78 days of jail time credit.
Pursuant to the plea agreement, the remaining charge was dismissed.
