Warsaw Redevelopment Authority Reorganizes Board For 2018
WARSAW — During a less than ten minute meeting held yesterday, Jan. 17, the Warsaw Redevelopment Authority reorganized its board for 2018.
Warsaw Mayor Joseph Thallemer was present to swear in board members with the annual oath of office. After all board members were sworn in, the election of officers occured. George Clemens was appointed as president, Max Mock was appointed as secretary and Steve Truman was appointed as treasurer.
The board voted to keep the 2018 schedule as an on call basis. Meetings will only be held when absolutely neccesary. City Planner Jeremy Skinner noted that with the Airport Industrial Park annexation happening this year, the board can expect to meet a few times around October.
Skinner also gave a brief update on the Buffalo Street project that was bid out last year. Work on the project will begin in the next few weeks. Skinner estimated the project would “hit full speed” in the spring.
