Boys Basketball
Wawasee earned its 12th win of the season Thursday night in freshman hoops, 27-22, against Plymouth.
The host Warriors used a team-high eight points from Niles Hodges and seven points from Kameron Salazar to get past the Pilgrims. Adam Beer and Justin Castro combined for 10 points in the victory.
Wawasee (12-2) will look to get lucky 13 Monday when it visits Fairfield.
Girls Basketball
Plymouth was able to use a big second quarter to rush past Wawasee, 36-16, in freshman hoops Thursday in Syracuse.
A 17-5 second quarter was more than enough for Plymouth. Tallulah Gault had a big game for the Pilgrims, scoring 20 points.
Ava Harker led Wawasee with five points.
Wawasee (4-3) will look to rebound Monday at home against Northridge.
