Warsaw Man Arrested For Two Gas Station Armed Robberies
WARSAW — A week-long investigation by the Indiana State Police has led to the arrest of a man in connection to two local armed robberies.
Christopher W. Roberts, 38 of Warsaw, was arrested on Friday, Jan. 26, and booked in the Wabash County Jail. He currently faces one charge of armed robbery.
Roberts is accused of performing armed robberies at the Freedom Express Gas Station on East Center Street in Warsaw and the Clark’s Gas Station on SR 15 and SR 114 in North Manchester.
A search warrant was conducted at Roberts’ house on East Jefferson Street in Warsaw on Friday. Officers discovered probable cause for his arrest. Around 10 p.m. that evening, officers located Roberts in northern Howard County and arrested him without incident. He was also found in possession of heroin during the arrest.
