WCS Conducts Threat Investigation On Tuesday
WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools began an investigation yesterday, Jan. 30, following the discovery of a threat located in a bathroom at Warsaw Community High School.
The message, written on a bathroom wall, was discovered by a student at WCHS who shared the note through social media. Warsaw Schools and officers with the Warsaw Police Department immediately launched an investigation of the note to ensure no real threat was present. Through this, it was determined that the message did not represent a credible threat.
Student safety and wellbeing is the foremost priority at Warsaw Community Schools. Warsaw Schools would like to thank the Warsaw Police Department for their continued support and partnership in providing a safe environment for student learning.
