Warsaw Gymnastics: Wainscott Leads Way In Win
WARSAW – Anna Wainscott led the way for the Warsaw gymnastics team Wednesday night.
The host Tigers competed versus Marion, North Miami and Peru and posted a team score of 96 to defeat all three foes.
Wainscott won the all-around title with a score of 32.775 for Warsaw. She tied for first in the vault, placed second on the beam and third in the floor exercise routine.
Daylen Turner took second all-around for the Tigers with her total score of 31.625. Turner tied for first place in the vault, finished second on the beam and third in the floor exercise event.
Adree Beckham was third all-around with a score of 30.975. She placed second in the vault, bars and floor exercise events.
Megan Metzger was fourth in the all-around with a 29.925. She was third in both the vault and beam.
Warsaw will compete in the Lakeland Invitational Saturday starting at 11 a.m.
