BOURBON — Triton’s girls basketball team was recently honored with three All-Hoosier North Athletic Conference selections.

Seniors Hannah Wanemacher and Nicole Sechrist were both named, and sophomore Whytnie Miller was selected for the All-HNAC rolls as well for Triton. Wanemacher led the team in scoring with nearly 12 points per game, Sechrist led in rebounds and assists with 4.2 caroms and 1.4 dimes an outing, and Miller led in steals with an average of nearly two a game — .5 ahead of Wanemacher’s and Sechrist’s averages in the category — to go with 7.5 points per game. The Lady Trojans finished 5-2 in conference play behind Knox’s 6-1 mark and North Judson-San Pierre’s perfect 7-0 slate.

North Judson received three All-HNAC selections, including conference MVP Lillian Frasure, while Knox had three All-HNAC picks and an honorable mention.
