Ohio Man Arrested After Entering Home With Ball Bat
KOSCIUSKO — An Ohio man was arrested in Kosciusko County following an incident, which happened late last year.
Jason M. Cole, 44, 2170 S. Berkey Southern Rd., No. 163, Swanton, Ohio, is being charged residential entry, a level 6 felony and battery, a class A misdemeanor.
According to police, Cole is accused of entering a residence with a baseball bat on Dec. 30, 2017 and threatening at least one of the residents. The police reported that Cole entered the house with two other men, who also carried baseball bats.
Cole is accused of climbing on top of one of the residents and making threats. While Cole and the two other men started the leave the house, according to police, the previously threatened resident was struck in the face by Cole.
Cole was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail March 7 on $10,250 bond, surety and cash.
